Emerging firms will pitch over two days at 2024 Early Stage Symposium in Madison
MADISON, Wis. – Forty-one young companies will pitch to potential investors and others throughout the course of the in-person Nov. 13-14 Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium.

That includes 23 companies selected by conference organizers to present Nov. 13 during the Tech Council Investor Networks tracks and 18 more picked for the fast-moving Elevator Pitch Olympics on Nov. 14. More than 50 companies from across the Midwest applied to present at the annual conference, to meet with investors through the Investor Intros track or both.

The 18 companies selected for the Elevator Pitch Olympics will deliver 90-second pitches and be scored by a panel of investor judges. In addition to the judges’ feedback, participants will also be scored by members of the audience for selection of a “People’s Choice” award. Over the last five years, more than 50 companies that pitched at the conference have raised at least one round of angel or venture capital. The conference will also feature:

- Federal tech issues that may emerge post-election at Capitol Hill discussed Nov. 13 over lunch
- Dan Olszewski accepting the 2024 ‘Triple E’ award Nov. 13 over lunch
- A Nov. 14 keynote session featuring the latest on Microsoft’s planned data center
