E-commerce Logistics Company Moves to the Near West Side
Building at West Michigan Street gives startup Atomix the infrastructure to grow
MILWAUKEE — Atomix, an e-commerce fulfillment company, moved into the facilities at 2203 West Michigan Street, bringing another growing business to Milwaukee’s Near West Side community.
“This move signifies a pivotal moment for Atomix and gives us the opportunity to take root in the heart of Milwaukee,” said Austin Kreinz, Founder and CEO of Atomix. “Our family’s long-history in the logistics industry combined with our growing and experienced team has allowed us to scale from our original 400 square feet of warehouse space. We’re looking forward to building the company and expanding our team in the Near West Side.”
Atomix’s new location is situated just north of I-94, across the street from Marquette University and near iconic neighborhood establishments such as Miss Katie’s Diner, The Rave / Eagles Club, and the Ambassador Hotel. Among such impressive institutions, Kreinz was drawn to Milwaukee for its endless possibilities and potential.
“A core focus of Near West Side Partners is to build up assets and bring jobs, resources and opportunity to the neighborhood,” said Keith Stanley, Executive Director of Near West Side Partners. “The addition of Atomix to the Near West Side is an exciting development for our business community and economy.”
In its efforts to boost the community’s economy and revitalize the neighborhood, Near West Side Partners offers a number of resources to new businesses and entrepreneurs looking to establish themselves in the Near West Side. Since the organization’s inception, the Near West Side has gained more than 35 new businesses.
