DPW response to Walker’s Tax Rebate Events
"More slick campaign year gimmicks from a Governor who's the ultimate politician."
MADISON — The following is a statement from the Democratic Party of Wisconsin‘s spokesperson on the 2018 gubernatorial race TJ Helmstetter on Scott Walker touting his $100 tax rebate today:
“More slick campaign year gimmicks from a Governor who’s the ultimate politician. A hundred dollar handout in an election year is nice, but it doesn’t repair the damage that Walker has caused to schools, healthcare, and quality of life in Wisconsin. Under Walker, healthcare costs are skyrocketing, roads are littered with potholes, and schools are failing. Walker’s election year rebate does nothing to fix these problems.”
