Donations now being accepted for Bronzeville Sleepover for Education
The 10th annual Bronzeville Sleepover for Education, a regular event held during Bronzeville Week, is set to take place beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 9 and lasting until 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 10. Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs notes that donations for the annual event are now being accepted at various locations throughout the city. The event occurs outside at Dr. MLK Jr. Drive and North Ave.
Donations of school supplies can be dropped off in blue bins located in the first floor rotunda at City Hall, 200 E. Wells St., through the close of business daily this week. All supplies will be distributed to Milwaukee Public Schools students in need.
