Brewers Community Foundation Announces 2023 Drive for Charity Events

First Event, Sponsored by Newsradio 620 WTMJ, Offered as a Drive-Thru (April 20) and In-Person (April 21-23) Donation Opportunity

MILWAUKEE – Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) today announced the schedule for its 2023 Drive for Charity events, presented by the BCF Leadership Council. The series of donation opportunities supports non-profits in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

Media sponsor Newsradio 620 WTMJ is supporting the first event of the year, benefiting the Wisconsin Humane Society. The event will be hosted as a Drive-Thru at American Family Field, taking place on Thursday, April 20 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Cooper parking lot, near Helfaer Field. Fans will also have the opportunity to donate in-stadium during the April 21-23 homestand against the Boston Red Sox with donation tables located inside American Family Field at the Potawatomi (right-field), Home Plate and left-field Hot Corner gate entrances. Those donating or making a $10 contribution will receive a collectible Willy Adames pin. In addition, the first 200 fans who donate at the Drive-Thru will receive a collectible Brewers bobblehead.

Wisconsin Humane Society is collecting pet supplies and has a high need for items such as: moist dog treats, dry and canned dog food, dry and canned cat food, cat litter, peanut butter, potty training pads, unscented baby wipes and soft dog toys. For the Drive-Thru event, fans can expect BCF employees and volunteers onsite to accept donations through car windows or trunks. Online donations, made at brewers.com/BCF, of at least $10 between April 20-23 will also receive the collectible Willy Adames pin.

The three remaining Drive for Charity events are slated to take place during games at American Family Field, providing fans with the opportunity to donate designated items that will be distributed to organizations working for the greater good.

Fans who donate designated items or make a monetary donation of at least $10 for future events will receive a commemorative pin. The 2023 Drive for Charity schedule is as follows:

  • April 21-23 Brewers vs. Boston Red Sox: Pet Supplies
    • Commemorative Pin: Willy Adames
  • May 12-14 Brewers vs. Kansas City Royals: Peanut Butter
  • Aug. 25-27 Brewers vs. San Diego Padres: New socks
    • Commemorative Pin: TBD
  • Sept. 29-Oct. 1 Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs: New winter hats, mittens and scarves
    • Commemorative Pin: TBD

The 2023 Drive for Charity events are presented by the Brewers Community Foundation Leadership Council: American Family Insurance, Aurora Health Care, Baker Tilly, Delta Dental of Wisconsin, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, Johnson Controls, Lubar & Co., Molson CoorsMilwaukee AdmiralsNorthwestern Mutual, Potawatomi Hotel | Casino, Town Bank and We Energies Foundation.
