Annual community event celebrates fall harvest in Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights Neighborhood

Harvest Day Festival will be held Saturday, September 30th, in Johnsons Park

Milwaukee, WI (September 6, 2023) — Walnut Way Conservation Corp. invites the community to attend its annual Harvest Day Festival, “Building Back Better”, set for Saturday, September 30th from 10:00 am 3:00 pm at Johnsons Park, 1919 West Fond du Lac Avenue, in the Lindsay Heights neighborhood.

The event features local music, food vendors,  children’s activities and community resources for the whole family.   Now in its 22nd year,  Harvest Day has grown from a community block party into one of the neighborhood’s largest family-friendly gatherings.

Harvest Day will feature a Youth Talent Show, Milwaukee Flyers, DJ Homer Blow, Children’s Station, health and wellness activities, local food and product vendors, and community resources.

“Harvest Day is a celebration of the Lindsay Heights neighborhood and lifts up the remarkable talents, gifts and culture of our community,” says Antonio Butts, Executive Director of Walnut Way. says Antonio Butts, Executive Director of Walnut Way.
