It’s the third annual diaper drive with Milwaukee Diaper Mission at Lakefront Brewery! Lakefront is hoping to top last year’s collection of 9300 diapers and more than 16,000 wipes! Help Lakefront make that happen!

Family has always been an important part of who Lakefront is. Not only has Lakefront welcomed countless families through its doors every year, but Lakefront has supported many of its employees in growing their own families. When Lakefront heard that 1 in 2 families in the U.S. lack the funds to keep up with their diaper needs, it felt like a no-brainer to begin looking at ways to help locally. As the Mission puts it, diapers are a necessity, not a luxury.

Join Lakefront Brewery from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 with as many unopened, fully packaged, disposable diapers as you are able to donate! For your donation, Lakefront will hand over a gift card loaded with cash to spend in the Beer Hall that day or any day in the future. Lakefront will give $.25 (25 cents) per diaper with no limit to the amount you can donate. Milwaukee Diaper Mission will accept all sizes but is in greatest need of 2, 3, 5, and 6-size diapers. Additionally, MDM will also accept pull-ups, baby wipes, and fully packaged tampons. Lakefront will be donating $.25 per tampon and $.25 for every 10 wipes in fully packaged products.

Milwaukee Diaper Mission will accept all applicable items they can help distribute but diapers, tampons, and wipes will be the only items accepted for Lakefront gift cards.

All products will be donated to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission who utilizes an efficient and cost-effective distribution model to ensure they get into the hands of the families that need them most. This could be through food pantries, home visiting agencies, mutual aid groups, as well as organizations that support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
