The first occupant of this building was the Broadway Produce Company. A.C. Runzler built this structure in 1937 to complement the earlier commission houses on Broadway. At various time the space housed as a speakeasy, a bar, a produce company (Goldman Produce), an art haven (The Rust Spot), and an organic grocer (Good Harvest Market). Today it is home of Cafe Benelux.
