A last hurrah for Summerfest

Aside from Sunday’s oppressive heat taking down a dozen or so marathoners at Summerfest’s Rock and Sole, the weather at the Big Gig was (for once) perfect throughout the run. We enjoyed many concerts over the weeks, and brought you the proof in images.

Our last installment is a full blowout of rock at its most get-off-your-butt awesomeness. Visits include local act The Fatty Acids on the Cascio stage, then Irish heroes Dropkick Murphys and American psychedlic rock icons The Flaming Lips.  Once again our Photo Interns Sarah Weiss and Dylan Huebner got up close and personal with the action, then turned their lenses on the festival-goers.
