MADISON — Rep. Russell Antonio Goodwin Sr. (D-District 12) is calling for bipartisan collaboration in the Wisconsin State Assembly to address critical issues such as crime, reckless driving, housing, job creation, and urban development.

In heartfelt letters to Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer and Republican Leader Robin Vos, Rep. Goodwin emphasized the need to rise above partisanship and adopt a “Wisconsin First Agenda.”

“These are not Democratic or Republican issues—they are Wisconsin issues,” said Rep. Goodwin. “We have the opportunity to put Wisconsin on the cutting edge of the future, leading the nation in education, jobs, housing, and development. Collaboration is not a weakness but a sign of strength. Together, we can build a stronger, more united Wisconsin.”

Rep. Goodwin, who pledged to be a bridge-builder for the people of Wisconsin, called on leaders of both parties to find common ground. “Building bridges isn’t just about connecting places—it’s about connecting people. By working together, we can address pressing challenges like crime, reckless driving, and urban development, ensuring that every Wisconsinite has the opportunity to thrive.”

Rep. Goodwin’s outreach reflects his commitment to fostering unity and delivering results for the people of Wisconsin.
