Rep. Russell Antonio Goodwin, Sr. Earns Key Endorsements in Re-Election Campaign
MILWAUKEE, WI — State Representative Russell Antonio Goodwin, Sr. announced today that he has earned the support of the Milwaukee Police Association, the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC), the National Association of Social Workers Wisconsin Chapter Political Action Committee (NASW-WI PAC), and the Wisconsin State Conference of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in his campaign for re-election to Wisconsin’s 12th Assembly District.
“I am honored to have earned the support of organizations representing law enforcement officers, educators, social workers, and skilled trades professionals across Wisconsin,” said Goodwin. “These endorsements reflect the work we have done together to strengthen our communities, support working families, and continue delivering results for District 12.”
Since taking office in January 2024, Goodwin has worked on more than 500 bills, helped pass over 40 bills through the Wisconsin State Assembly, and has had 21 bills signed into law by the Governor. His legislative priorities include:
- Public safety
- Reckless driving prevention
- Lower property taxes
- Education
- Workforce development
- Economic opportunity
