MILWAUKEE – The Salvation Army urgently needs donations of gently used clothing and household goods. The Salvation Army’s Thrift Stores rely on public donations of gently used clothing and household goods to fund its Adult Rehabilitation Program. Donations directly support the provision of essential rehabilitation services for those battling substance use.

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) has been in operation for over 100 years, providing rehabilitation services to communities all across the US. The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center is a 180-day residential program providing spiritual, social, and emotional assistance to people who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.

The Salvation Army provides services at no cost to the program participants and The Salvation Army receives no government funding to operate the program. As such, donations of clothing, household goods, etc. from the community are essential to ensuring the continued provision of services in Milwaukee and surrounding area.

Gently used clothing and household goods can be dropped off at any Salvation Army Thrift Store. Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday at our store locations in Hales Corners, Cudahy, Franklin & Burlington.

For more information about donating, please visit https://satruck.org/.
