There’s a lot of excitement to be had this weekend as the MIlwaukee Brewers head to the World Series! But that’s not all – there are also plenty of fun Autumn-themed ways to occupy your time in between baseball games. Don your Halloween costumes and head to the Henry Maier Festival Park for some spooky mini golf. The Milwaukee Art Museum is throwing a Halloween party of its own, and the Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum is hosting its annual Dia de los Muertos Festival.

October 22-25, 29-31: Haunted Mini Golf

Putt your way past ghouls, ghosts and goblins at the Henry Maier Festival Park this weekend and next as part of Bars & Rec’s Haunted Mini Golf event. The seasonal event, which originated at Nine Below, is now a bigger and better experience that will take over the Aurora Pavilion. Guests can play on nine spooky-themed holes and enjoy live music from DJs, food and drink, spooky surprises and more. Tickets for adults start at $20 and tickets for children start at $15. For more information, visit the Milwaukee World Festival website.

October 23: Halloween Spooktacular Night

Halloween Spooktacular Night will invite families to go trick-or-treating at Discovery World. Throughout the evening, the museum will host Halloween crafts and activities, special shows and performances and participate in costume contests. Check out underwater pumpkin carving in the Lake Michigan Tank, and catch performances by Wisconsin’s premier mermaid performer Echo Mermaid. Plus, there will be opportunities for trick-or-treating throughout the museum. Halloween Spooktacular Night is free to attend and will run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

October 23: MAM After Dark: Halloween Bash

Here’s another chance to celebrate the spooky season at a museum. MAM After Dark is hosting a Halloween Bash at the Milwaukee Art Museum, a party that will give guests the chance to dress up like their favorite art installation. The bash will also feature tarot card reading, live music, ghost tours and more. Advance tickets are $35 for general admission and $15 for members. Day of tickets are $40 and $20 for members. For more information, visit the Milwaukee Art Museum website.

October 23: Trunk or Treat

Celebrate Halloween with the Harley-Davidson Museum at the third annual Trunk or Treat. The family-friendly event promises plenty of candy, costumes, custom vehicles and more. A lineup of lowriders, motorcycles, custom Chevys and more will display their Halloween-themed decorated trunks, and guests can get an up-close look. Trunk or Treat will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free to attend.

October 24: Dia De Los Muertos Festival

Celebrate Día de los Muertos – the Day of the Dead – at the Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum with a festival and 5K run. The day will kick off with a 5K run or 2K walk through the cemetery. Then, guests can grab lunch at a food truck and experience traditional Mariachi music, shop vendors, decorate sugar skulls and more. Observe offerings to the dead made by area schools and community groups and participate in a peaceful walk through the cemetery led by a local priest. The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. To register for the walk/run, visit the event’s Eventbrite page.

October 25: Bitchcraft Fair

Immerse yourself in the magical world of Bitchcraft Fair, a traveling market that brings small vendors and shops together under one roof to sell all wares and services involved in divination and sorcery. The event, hosted at the Baird Center, will invite guests to shop handmade goods and discover new artists. Other activities include crafting wands, enjoying “cauldron cocktails,” photo opportunities and more. Bitchcraft Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the event’s website.
