The Milwaukee Brewers have won the World Series and it’s Halloween weekend – you should have no problem finding something fun to do in the city this weekend.

However, we’ve picked out some events that we think you won’t want to miss, like the Milwaukee Brewers Championship Celebration and the Mitchell Park Domes’ Dia de los Muertos event. Shop unique gifts for the upcoming holiday season at Lakefront Brewery’s Rare Bird Market, and head over to the Baird Center for fall-themed fun at the Halloween Village.

October 29-November 1: Halloween Village

The Halloween Village will once again turn the Baird Community Commons into a spooky, Fall-themed experience. New this year is the Pumpkin Hut, which will showcase various jack-o-lanterns carved by community members, and there will be plenty of photo ops with giant spiders and interactive lighting displays featuring Halloween favorites like ghosts, skeletons and more. Halloween Village is free to attend. For more information, visit the Milwaukee Downtown website.

October 28-November 1: David Lynch Pop Up & Art Show

Sugar Maple is putting on another of its popular themed pop up events, this time celebrating the late filmmaker David Lynch. The David Lynch Pop Up & Art Show will showcase works created by local artists celebrating Lynch’s films and television series, and guests are encouraged to dress up and sample drinks from a special Lynch-inspired cocktail menu. Each day will feature different activities, and the bar will be streaming a lineup of Lynch’s films. The pop up is free to attend.

October 29: Rare Bird Market

Lakefront Brewery is celebrating Halloween with its Rare Bird Market, a “bizarre bazaar” that will feature local vendors, artists and small businesses selling unusual and strange items. Aside from unique shopping opportunities, guests can also get tattooed by five local artists and sample food from a themed menu that will include Sweet Tooth Curds (blood red velvet cheese curds breaded with Oreo cookies). All attendees will also be entered into a costume contest with prizes like cases of beer and gift cards. The market will run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is free to attend.

October 30: Milwaukee Brewers Championship Celebration

For the first time ever, the Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series! To celebrate this monumental and historical achievement, Milwaukee is throwing a parade and party. The Brewers’ Parade of Champions will begin at 10 a.m. starting at N. Vel R. Phillips and W. Wisconsin avenues and heading east. Once the parade reaches its destination, the festivities will continue at the Henry Maier Festival Park. That party will feature Brewers alumni, exclusive merchandise, a showing of the Ueck documentary and more. For more information, visit the MLB website.

October 30: Dia de los Muertos at The Domes

The Mitchell Park Domes is throwing its annual Dia de los Muertos celebration, inviting guests to experience the domes in a new way. The Desert Dome will be decorated in celebration, and the event will feature a mariachi band, dancers, local food and art vendors. Guests can also learn more about the holiday via educational programming and hands-on activities. Admission to the event is $15 for members and $18 for nonmembers. For more information, visit the Milwaukee Domes website.

November 1: Empty Bowls

Shop hundreds of unique, handmade bowls at Empty Bowls, which will take place at the MSOE Kern Center. Bowls crafted using unique materials by local artists, pottery schools, arts programs and more will be up for sale, and guests can enjoy live entertainment, music and a silent auction. Make sure you arrive hungry, as local chefs and restaurants will be offering samples of soups. Empty Bowls will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
