Brewers Community Foundation Announces More than $4.2 Million Raised in 2023; More than $55 Million Raised Since 2010 Inception
MILWAUKEE – Brewers Community Foundation (BCF), the charitable arm of the Milwaukee Brewers, today announced that more than $4.2 million was raised this year through the Foundation’s numerous events, programs, donations and related initiatives. Every player on the team’s roster – along with investors, Brewers Wives, fans, sponsors and members of the front office – contributed to BCF through financial contributions and involvement in community events that were critically important.

In 2023, BCF provided support to approximately 200 nonprofits throughout Wisconsin focusing on supporting healthcare, education, recreation and basic needs. This support came through financial contributions, volunteer time, player ambassadorships, sponsor support, fundraising and fan activities.
Additional organizations throughout Wisconsin that Brewers Community Foundation supported this year include: American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha, Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin, Gaps to Greatness, Hometown Heroes, HOPE Network Inc., Koos for Kids, Life Navigators, Little Warrior Foundation, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, ALS Association, Salvation Army, The Women’s Center and Wisconsin Educational Youth Development Foundation, Inc.
“BCF takes pride in working with our staff, uniformed personnel, generous fans and partners to raise money and provide resources for these nonprofit organizations,” said BCF Executive Director Cecelia Gore. “I’m proud of the support we have generated throughout this season and all of 2023. These organizations supported place the highest priority on serving our local community and state of Wisconsin, and we are proud to continue our tradition of supporting them with our outreach efforts.”
BCF partners with fans and supporters to fundraise through various initiatives, including the 50/50 Raffle at every Brewers home game, the 5K/10K Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk, Drive for Charity, Ultimate Auction and BCF Weekends. The Leadership Council – a group of corporate partners whose vital support makes many of these initiatives possible – includes American Family Insurance, Aurora Health Care®, Baker Tilly US LLP, Delta Dental of Wisconsin, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, Johnson Controls, Lubar & Co., Molson Coors, The Milwaukee Admirals, Wintrust/Town Bank, Northwestern Mutual, Potawatomi Casino | Hotel and We Energies Foundation.
Brewers fans hit a home run in supporting BCF’s four Drive for Charity events in 2023, hosted as both drive-thru and in-ballpark collections. Fans donated non-perishable food items, new socks, pet supplies, new hats, mittens and scarves to support Friedens Food Pantry, Sojourner Peace Center, Wisconsin Humane Society and United Methodist Children’s Services of Wisconsin.
BCF harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in the Greater Milwaukee area and throughout Wisconsin. Over the past decade, BCF has generated more than $55 million to support local non-profits in the areas of health, education, recreation and basic needs.
