More Halloween Fun at Village Park

The celebration continues at Thiensville Village Park, where the Party in the Park and Trunk or Treat run from 4–7 p.m. Families can enjoy a live DJ, food trucks, hayrides, a pumpkin hunt, games and plenty of candy. The Costume Cauldron prize drawing gives children, adults and pets in costume a free raffle ticket, with winners drawn at 6:30 p.m. Our Signature Beer Garden will feature some great hot drinks for the night with Cider for the kids and Mulled Wine for the grownups.

This year’s Village Park Trunk or Treat participants include presenting sponsor Schramka Funeral Homes and more than 30 individual local community businesses hosting Trunk or Treat stops in Thiensville Village Park. Additional activities include a fire truck activity with SOFD, hayrides with the Thiensville-Mequon Lions Club and robot demonstrations by Homestead High School’s Volta Robotics. Demonstrations by Bella Via Dance Studio, BE Martial Arts and JK Lee of Fox Point will also start at 5 p.m. for movement and exercise plus entertainment.

Costumes are encouraged for everyone. Whether visiting neighborhood businesses, collecting treats at Village Park or dancing along with the DJ, families can enjoy an evening of Halloween fun while connecting with neighbors and celebrating the businesses and organizations that support the community.

Behind every successful community event is a team of dedicated volunteers, and Nightmare on Elm Street is looking for community members to help make this year’s celebration a success.

Volunteers play an essential role in creating a fun and welcoming experience for families and visitors. Individuals, students, families and groups of friends are encouraged to get involved, lend a hand and be part of one of Thiensville’s most anticipated community celebrations.
