Downtown launches Dining Week and Milwaukee Trolley Loop tomorrow

Signaling the start of summer, Milwaukee Downtown, Business Improvement District #21 will roll out two programs tomorrow – Downtown Dining Week and the Milwaukee Trolley Loop.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (June 4, 2014) – Signaling the start of summer, Milwaukee Downtown, Business Improvement District #21 will roll out two programs tomorrow – Downtown Dining Week and the Milwaukee Trolley Loop.

The 9th Annual Downtown Dining Week offers three-course menus at $12.50 for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner at 40 destination eateries, June 5 – 12. No passes, coupons or cards are required to participate in Downtown Dining Week; however, reservations are recommended. Menu options at participating restaurants can be previewed at www.milwaukeedowntown.com/diningweek.

In addition to enjoying dining deals, visitors can also take advantage of the Milwaukee Trolley Loop – a seasonal trolley service presented by VISIT Milwaukee. The privately funded service will run Thursdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., June 5 through Sept. 6. One complete loop is 40 minutes. Two trolleys will service the “Hop ‘n Shop, Wine ‘n Dine” route to connect visitors to downtown businesses and attractions. Rides are $1 per trip.
