“Flash Mob” Comes to the Courthouse
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele is happy to announce the Milwaukee County Courthouse will once again host a “flash mob” to raise awareness and celebrate the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired.
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele is happy to announce the Milwaukee County Courthouse will once again host a “flash mob” to raise awareness and celebrate the achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired.
For the second year in a row, a crowd of people from across Southeastern Wisconsin, including dozens of students with visual impairments, will perform a “flash mob” dance outside the Courthouse.
County Executive Abele will present a proclamation at the event declaring Tuesday, October 15th, 2013, White Cane Safety Day across Milwaukee County.
After the “flash mob”, students will be providing information about the White Cane law and answer questions that people may have about blindness, braille, or other related topics.
What: “Flash Mob” outside the Courthouse
When: Tuesday, October 15, 2013 – Noon
Where: Wells Street side of the Milwaukee County Courthouse (inside if raining)
