MCSO Death Investigation
Squads responded to a location near N. 37th St. and W. Wisconsin Ave., where a 27-year-old male suspect was taken into custody.
On Friday, January 25, at 3:43 a.m., Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) squads were dispatched to the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center for a report of an individual trapped under a vehicle. Responding deputies located the female victim, who was unconscious and had a weak pulse. The Wauwatosa Fire Department was contacted. The victim was treated at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, but succumbed to her injuries at 4:21 a.m.
MCSO received information of a person of interest at approximately 10:18 a.m. Squads responded to a location near N. 37th St. and W. Wisconsin Ave., where a 27-year-old male suspect was taken into custody. MCSO’s investigation is ongoing, and a case is expected to be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. MCSO’s investigation indicates no additional threat to public safety.
