Celebrate Bike to Work Week with Mayor Tom Barrett, Alderpersons, and The Wisconsin Bike Federation
Bike to Work Week is May 13-18, 2013
Mayor Tom Barrett, along with members of Milwaukee’s Common Council, the Wisconsin Bike Federation, and Department of Public Works (DPW) staff, will bike to work on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. Bikers will meet at 51st & Washington Boulevard and head downtown to the City Hall campus. This bike-to-work celebration is open to all.
Mayor Barrett, Bike Fed Executive Director Kevin Hardman, and others will hold a press conference at the end of the ride.
Media coverage is welcome and encouraged at the beginning, along the route, and end of the event.
