MPS selecting new textbooks
Staff, families, community have opportunity to review
Even in the digital age, textbooks are a critically important tool in our classrooms. Milwaukee Public Schools selects new textbooks in selected areas every eight to ten years. We take the process very seriously because students will use these textbooks for a decade as the basis for building a strong education foundation.
The opinions of our families, communities and staff are important voices as we weigh our different options. Please take a few moments to review our textbook options in K-8th grade world languages, 9th and 10th grade English language arts and Advanced Placement chemistry and physics, and give us your feedback. The survey will be open until March 24. If you wish to review more than one set of textbooks, you will be given that option at the end of the survey.
