WisDems Chair Ben Wikler Congratulates Newly-Elected Successor Devin Remiker
WISCONSIN DELLS — Following the election of Devin Remiker as the incoming chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, Chairman Ben Wikler released the following statement:
“I’m thrilled to congratulate Devin Remiker on his election as the next chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. In Devin, the delegates to our state convention have chosen a leader, an innovator, a brilliant strategist, and a Democratic who understands to his core that we are strongest as a party when we join together, from every corner of the state, to fight for a future that lifts up working families.
“I feel lucky to have the chance to pass the torch to someone so superbly prepared to lift our party up to new heights. Devin’s work, often behind the scenes, has been pivotal in so many fights over the last decade. Now, he will lead the party to win a Democratic trifecta for the first time since 2008.
“It’s been a tremendous honor to lead this party for the last six years, and I’m profoundly grateful to the thousands of volunteers, party leaders, staff members, allies, candidates, and elected officials who have poured their hearts and souls into our work. Devin will do them proud. I’ll be there to support him, and our party, every step of the way.”
Chairman Wikler’s term comes to an official end on June 30th, 2025, and the new chair’s term begins on July 1st.
