Wisconsin Democrats on the Legislature’s Final Floor Period
MADISON, Wis. — Today, Republicans in the Wisconsin State Senate adjourned the Legislature’s final floor period of the year, effectively ending the 2023 legislative session. Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Joe Oslund issued the following statement:
“As Republicans head home to continue collecting a full-time salary for less than three months of work, they should understand that the next eight months won’t be the paid vacation they may have been hoping for—we will be relentless in reminding voters across this state about the many ways Republicans failed them this session.”
