Wisconsin Bike Fed Hosts Annual Milwaukee Santa Cycle Rampage December 5, 2026
MILWAUKEE, WI: The Wisconsin Bike Fed joyously announces the registration information and event details for the annual Milwaukee Santa Cycle Rampage on Saturday, December 5, 2026.
“It’s the World’s Largest Winter Holiday Themed Costume Bike Ride for Charity!” explains event organizer and Wisconsin Bike Fed Assistant Director, Jake Newborn. “We expect over 2000 Santas, Elves, Reindeer, Ralphies, Grinches, and more to celebrate the joy of cycling at this fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bike Fed.”
Funds raised through ride registration support important Bike Fed programs including bike education for kids, free bicycle repairs for low-income residents, and staff time dedicated to advocacy projects. Registering is also extremely important to help host a safe, successful event. Knowing how many riders to expect allows us to secure adequate Milwaukee Police Department support and recruit enough volunteers to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.
Santa Cycle Rampage is a slow-roll style ride with two start options departing from the Bike Fed office at 187 E. Becher St in Milwaukee.
The main group ride rolls to Schlitz Park (1555 N. Rivercenter Dr., Milwaukee), finishing in the southeast corner of the parking lot. A group ride back to the start line will leave 30 minutes after the first riders arrive at Schlitz Park for those who want to join in.
Returning by popular demand is the 3-mile, family-friendly “Elf Cycle Frenzy” route led by Bike Fed Safe Routes to School instructors. This ride departs from the start line immediately after the main ride and travels through the Bay View neighborhood before returning to Cafe Centraal for hot cocoa and snacks. Participants can register for the Elf Cycle Frenzy by selecting the corresponding ticket level on the registration page.
Both routes are subject to change prior to December 5th due to weather conditions or construction issues or other unforeseen circumstances. Additional details will be emailed to registered riders as they are known.
