Winter Seasonal and First Bottle Release
Nicholas the Wonderworker marks the first bottle release for Gathering Place.
Gathering Place Brewing Company is releasing its winter seasonal, their first bottle release, on Saturday, December 30th.
- Nicholas the Wonderworker: A special beery treat from St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, this biere de garde is slightly tart with notes of cherry, burnt sugar, plum, and cocoa. Deceptive and warming, light bodied with a hint of brown sugar sweetness. 8.9% ABV 24 IBU
“Biere de garde is a wonderful beer style for the winter months,” said Head Brewer Corey Blodgett. “Nicholas has complex flavors that are perfect for sipping while sitting around a fire with family and friends.”
Nicholas the Wonderworker marks the first bottle release for Gathering Place. Two hundred 750 mL bottles will be available for sale for in the tap room beginning at 12 pm on the 30th. The bottles will be $12 each with a limit of two per person.
“We’d planned to release Nicholas a bit earlier but it took its sweet time fermenting,” said Joe Yeado, founder and president of Gathering Place Brewing Company. “It gave me a few more grey hairs, but we’re committed to quality and that means not rushing a beer to meet an arbitrary deadline.”
