Willy Porter to headline Save the County Grounds event

Coalition members will start off the evening with an update on the battle to save the County Grounds.

Singer-songwriter and master guitarist Willy Porter of Milwaukee will perform at a potluck social for the County Grounds Coalition, 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the Wauwatosa Lions Club, 7336 St. James St.

Coalition members will start off the evening with an update on the battle to save the County Grounds, including Sanctuary Woods, from the developer’s bulldozer, plus a preview of the challenges ahead.

The public is invited to bring the entire family, plus a dish or beverage to share. Free parking will be available under State St. Station across the street.
