Milwaukee, Wisc., August 10, 2023 — This week, Third Space Brewing launched a new initiative to support local non-profit organizations. The “Community Space Share Program” includes a discounted space rental fee of $50 for an up to 3-hour event in the brewery’s indoor private event space or outdoor covered deck, and in most cases, an offer of $5 pints of beer during the events.

The brewery boasts four unique spaces for private rental which range in accommodations for 50 to over 200 guests. Third Space’s unique industrial setting, which features historic cream city brick, modern geometric murals, and fresh beer on site, has become a popular venue option for weddings, showers, reunions and business events. With the introduction of their Community Space Share Program, organizations with positive impact in the community will now have the opportunity to take advantage of some of these spaces and accommodations for a fraction of the standard cost.

The program was conceptualized and executed by Third Space Brewing’s DEI Team, one of four internal committees made up of the brewery’s employees, whose members range from bartenders to brewers to management.

The Third Space Brewing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Team was created in 2022 with a mission to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in who the brewery hires, serves, and supports. Other initiatives created by the team include developing a DEI training program for all brewery staff and additional training for those involved in hiring.

“The establishment of the “Community Space Share Program” is driven by the desire to foster a sense of community and create a partnership between Third Space Brewing and local nonprofit organizations. By offering the use of our taproom spaces at a discounted rate, Third Space Brewing aims to provide a welcoming and accessible venue for organizations to showcase their work and engage with our diverse Milwaukee community.” –Carmella Castro, DEI Team Chair

The Community Space Share Program joins the already-in-force Pints With A Purpose Program as one of Third Space Brewing’s Community Outreach efforts with a goal to serve more people and organizations doing great work in the community.
