The Salvation Army To Provide Christmas Day Dinner in Milwaukee
Event presented by the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation
MILWAUKEE – The Salvation Army is one week away from the 34th annual Christmas Family Feast. Hundreds of volunteers will help prepare and serve a homestyle dinner for thousands of people at the Baird Center (formerly the Wisconsin Center), 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., in Milwaukee on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25.
“Christmas Family Feast is a Milwaukee tradition filled with food, fun, and fellowship. We encourage everyone to join us on Christmas Day,” said Major Beverly Gates, Divisional Secretary for The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County.
Everyone that arrives will receive a sit-down meal with turkey, ham, yams, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans, and dessert. The event will also feature Santa, free haircuts, and a children’s book signing.
Christmas Family Feast is presented by the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation. Lead sponsors include Ascension Wisconsin and the We Energies Foundation.
