The Salvation Army To Provide Christmas Day Dinner in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE – The Salvation Army is just a few days away from the 33rd annual Christmas Family Feast. This year, we are returning to dine-in only (no carry-outs)! Hundreds of volunteers will help prepare and serve a homestyle dinner for thousands of people at the Wisconsin Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., in Milwaukee on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25.
Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and the meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Everyone that arrives will receive a sit-down meal with turkey, ham, yams, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans, and dessert. The event will also feature Santa, free haircuts, and a children’s book signing.
Christmas Family Feast is sponsored by: the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation, All Saints Cathedral, Bombas, the Brewers’ Community Foundation, Cedar Crest Ice Cream, Hunger Task Force, Levy, the Milwaukee County Transit System, Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, Roundy’s, Sysco, the Village of Hartland, the We Energies Foundation, the Wisconsin Veterans Foundation, and the Wisconsin Center.
