Taste of the Gateway – Dining Days starts Wednesday, Oct. 28th
The Gateway to Milwaukee will host its annual Taste of the Gateway event once again in 2020, but the event will feature a new look to accommodate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This year, visitors can stop by any of 12 participating restaurants from October 28th – 31st and receive a discount on their purchase by mentioning the dining days. Orders between $10 – $19.99 will be eligible for $5 off and orders of $20 or more will be eligible for $10 off. There is a maximum of $10 off per transaction and the discount is available for dine-in, carry-out and curbside pickup.
Alderman Scott Spiker is asking residents to utilize this promotion to try local restaurants and support small businesses. “The Gateway to Milwaukee area surrounding the airport is home to many diverse and unique restaurants, and I hope residents will use this opportunity to try something new and support local businesses in the process,” said Alderman Spiker.
The 12 restaurants participating in this year’s event include: Altitude Restaurant, Skyline Catering/Deli, On the Clock, Martino’s Hot Dogs, Final Approach, Iron Grate BBQ, Pat’s Niche Pub & Grub, Milwaukee Classic Pizza, Brass Monkey Milwaukee, Pizza De Brazil, Pita Palace, and Gingerz Sportz Pub & Grill.
