MILWAUKEE, WI – Together, Milwaukee County Supervisor Jack Eckblad and City of Milwaukee Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic are marking the official opening of the 2025 season at the Humboldt Park Beer Garden, kicking off with the first Jazz at the Vine concert.

“Jazz at the Vine and the Humboldt Beer Garden represent what makes Bay View so special,” said Supervisor Eckblad. “Humboldt Park is more than just green space—it’s the heart of this neighborhood and a reflection of the volunteer spirit and community pride that defines District 4. This is what community looks like—neighbors showing up for each other and investing in the public spaces that connect us.”

Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic observed, “It feels like it’s officially summer in Bay View hen Humboldt Park Beer Garden opens and Chill on the Hill starts! Our great public spaces bring so many people together, and help built community.

Presented by Humboldt Park Friends—with support from Milwaukee County Parks, Lakefront Brewery, Beer Capitol, and community advocate Gary Hollander—Jazz at the Vine has become a beloved tradition, drawing families and music lovers to Humboldt Park for free outdoor jazz in a welcoming setting. Hosted in the historic beer garden, the series celebrates Milwaukee’s vibrant music scene while supporting the public spaces that bring our communities together. This year’s season opener coincided with Bay View Gallery Night, making it a perfect evening to enjoy local art, live music, and community in one of Milwaukee’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

The Jazz at the Vine series will continue every other Thursday through the summer at Humboldt Park. Proceeds from all county beer gardens go directly toward supporting the Milwaukee County Parks system.

Milwaukee County Supervisory District 4 is the beating heart of Greater Milwaukee. Its borders encompass Mitchell Airport and the Port of Milwaukee. Its County Parks like Humboldt and South Shore anchor historic neighborhoods such as Bay View, Saveland, Tippecanoe, and The Garden District.
