Sober Industry Night Hangs with Craft Mocktails

MILWAUKEE_Casual, sober-focused welcoming monthly hang at The Sugar Maple, 441 E Lincoln Avenue on Monday, October 24^th, 2022, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

All the social benefits of gathering in a bar without the booze. Whether you’re 10 years sober, or wanting to cut back, this monthly gathering will keep you in touch with compassionate, engaging, and supportive folks.

Join us on our Lucid Cruise, the 4th Monday of the month, from 5-8pm, where we will feature a specialty alcohol-free cocktail, in addition to our extensive booze free menu that currently exists. Lucid Cruise was created by Valerie Stafford as a sober alternative to the heavy drinking which is a near requirement for social events in an industry that has an intrinsic work-hard, play-hard mentality. Valerie believes that “while this country faces a mounting mental healthcare crisis and opioid epidemic, we should recognize the institutionalized binge drinking and drug use of the service industry lifestyle.”  She goes on to say “we turn our heads, glamorize and condemn simultaneously rather than support each other.”
