Six Golden Eagles Earn All-BIG EAST Outdoor Honors
Each finished top three at BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in individual events
NEW YORK – Marquette University track & field student-athletes Danny Olsen, Annika Bynum, Gus Kasun, Sophie Herriot, Aaron Hughes and Julia Beck earned All-BIG EAST Outdoor honors, the league office announced Wednesday.
Olsen became the first Golden Eagle to win gold in the outdoor 400m with a program record 46.21-second race on Saturday.
Annika Bynum had her best performance at the conference outdoor championship, earning silver in the high jump clearing 1.70 meters.
Sophie Herriot became the first Golden Eagle since 2021 to medal in pole vault. The junior earned bronze after clearing 3.62 meters.
Aaron Hughes earned his first outdoor medal with a third-place finish in the 100m finals at 10.58 seconds.
Julia Beck earned bronze in her final BIG EAST 100 hurdles race with a time of 14.09 seconds.
