Schlitz Park raises $25,000 for Donald Driver Foundation
Donald Driver Foundation receives generous donation as 2022 beneficiary for Schlitz Park annual fundraiser event: Milwaukee River Challenge 5K
MILWAUKEE (September 15, 2022)—Schlitz Park made huge strides by donating 25,000 dollars in proceeds to better the lives of underprivileged children and families. Donations, raised for the Donald Driver Foundation, came from generous donors and participants who attended the annual fundraiser event hosted by Schlitz Park: The Milwaukee River Challenge— a 5k run/2-mile walk taking place in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.
Schlitz Park, a once historic brewery turned refined and modern office spaces, welcomed around 400 guests to the event. Their selected 2022 beneficiary’s mission is to, ‘display Strong Hands, Strong Minds and Loving Hearts as a hand up, not a hand out’. The Donald Driver Foundation’s core focus is to provide underprivileged children and families a helping hand through guidance and resources.
Schlitz Park contains 5 historic buildings and a multitude of tenants, including the Milwaukee Bucks headquarters. Beautifully restored in 2021, the remodeled campus has accomplished interiors that incorporate original doors and metal work from the original Schlitz Brewery. The remodeled buildings hold beautiful offices, murals and green spaces. As well as multiple workout facilities, lounge and game room areas.
Schlitz Park is known to host tenant exclusive events and larger events in the summer to which the public are welcomed to attend.
