Repairs to Canadian Pacific Railroad Bridge to Close South Kinnickinnic Avenue Beginning July 15th, 2013

The Canadian Pacific Railroad and its bridge contractor Edward Kraemer & Sons will close South Kinnickinnic (KK) Avenue

The Canadian Pacific Railroad and its bridge contractor Edward Kraemer & Sons will close South Kinnickinnic (KK) Avenue from a point south of East Maple Street to the south end of the Kinnickinnic River Bridge beginning Monday, July 15, 2013. The street will be closed to allow for railroad bridge rehabilitation work. The closure will be in effect until the first week of November 2013.

Traffic will be detoured as follows:

  • Northbound traffic – At E. Becher St. and S. Kinnickinnic, turn left onto Becher, then right onto S. 1st Street. Take 1st St. until it intersects with S. KK and continue northbound.
  • Southbound traffic – South of Maple St., stay to the right and take S. 1st St. to E. Becher St. Turn left onto Becher St. to S. Kinnickinnic. Turn right onto S. KK and continue southbound.
