Registration Open for 5K & 10K Famous Racing Sausage 25th Annual Run/Walk

Race Takes Place Saturday, July 29 and Offers Fans a Special Experience to Run the Warning Track at American Family Field

MILWAUKEE – Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) will host its 25th annual Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk on Saturday, July 29, at 8 a.m., offering a 5K route, 10K route and a virtual option. Registration is now open for the eagerly anticipated annual event, benefiting Brewers Community Foundation, Fisher House Wisconsin and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.

Participants have the option to take on a 3.1-mile or 6.2-mile course alongside the Famous Racing Sausages and have the special opportunity to run on the warning track at American Family Field. The starting line will be located on Fredrick Miller Way, adjacent to American Family Field’s Tailgate Haus and the Gantner lot. Participants may also elect to run the event virtually where they are welcome to run/walk their own course and upload results.

Interested parties can register online now as teams or individuals at brewers.com/5K. Online registration is available through Monday, July 24 at 11:59 p.m. CT, and fans are encouraged to register early to take advantage of the best price. Limited walk-up registration will be made available during packet pick-up and on the morning of Saturday, July 29.

A commemorative Famous Racing Sausages t-shirt and voucher valid for a Terrace Reserved ticket to a select 2023 Brewers regular-season home game are included in the registration fee. Participants can also opt to pay an additional $10 for an Official Famous Racing Sausages Finisher Medal. Complimentary food and beverage will be served at a tailgate party following the event.

10K
April 4 – April 30         $40 per person

July 1 – July 23             $50 per person
Day of run/walk           $53 per person

Virtual
April 4 – April 30         $35 per person

The Brewers Community Foundation Leadership Council are presenting sponsors of the 5K & 10K Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk. The Leadership Council includes American Family Insurance, Aurora Health Care®, Baker Tilly, Delta Dental of Wisconsin, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, Johnson Controls, Lubar & Co., Molson Coors, Milwaukee Admirals, Northwestern Mutual, Potawatomi Casino | Hotel, Wintrust / Town Bank and  We Energies Foundation.

At the time of registration, fans are asked to set up a fundraising page and/or make a one-time contribution to support Fisher House Wisconsin or the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center which provides a home away from home for veterans’ and military families while their loved ones receive care at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. BCF has contributed more than $375,000 to Fisher House Wisconsin since its inception.
