Parking Structure at North 4th Street & West Highland Avenue to Close Permanently
The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) alerts the traveling public that the City-owned parking structure located at North 4th Street and West Highland Avenue will close permanently on Thursday, October 6, 2016 – the last day of parking operations at that site.
Effective Friday, October 7 the structure will close permanently, and all vehicles must be removed. The structure will be demolished as part of the new Milwaukee Bucks arena development, and a new one will be built as part of the arena district.
All monthly parkers have already been notified of this closing.
Parking options for the traveling public:
- MacArthur Square – 841 N. James Lovell St. – Located near the Milwaukee Public Museum, the
Milwaukee Police Department Administration Building, and the Milwaukee County Courthouse - 1000 N. Water Street – Located near the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts and City Hall
- 724 N. 2nd Street (N. 2nd & Plankinton) – Located near the Rock Bottom Brewery and the Hampton Inn.
