Industrial Road Drop Off Center to Remain Closed Friday

Following yesterday’s fire at the transfer station on Industrial Road, the Industrial Road Drop Off Center will remain closed Friday, September 4.

An assessment of the transfer station was conducted today, and it was determined that there is no structural damage to the facility and that the building is safe to occupy. However, the facility remains without power. As a result, the machinery cannot currently be operated, and we have not yet been able to fully assess whether all equipment is in working order.

The Lincoln Ave Drop Off Center will remain open Friday during its normal operating hours.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and understanding as we work to determine when the Industrial Road Drop Off Center can reopen.
