North Shore Bank’s “Bank on Kindness” Donation Program Returns for Second Year to Assist Wisconsin Non-profits
February will support food pantries; North Shore Bank to match donations
Brookfield, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced the bank’s community give-back program “Bank on Kindness” returns for its second year to support local efforts of Wisconsin non-profit organizations. Beginning today until Feb. 20, the public can donate to the local food pantries of their choice through a community-focused website created by North Shore Bank.
“Bank on Kindness” returns after a great success last year raising funds for Wisconsin non-profits. In February 2021, over $23,000 was raised to support hunger relief organizations in Wisconsin as part of the program, including $4,500 being matched by North Shore Bank. The program’s online donation portal offers a simple way for the public to donate to any or all of the charities, and North Shore Bank will match all donations up to $500 for each non-profit.
February donations will benefit the following food pantries:
- Milwaukee Christian Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
- Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee, Wis.
- Food Pantry of Waukesha County in Waukesha, Wis.
- Grace Welcome Center in Kenosha, Wis.
- Racine County Food Bank in Racine, Wis.
- Family Sharing of Ozaukee County in Grafton, Wis.
- Sussex Outreach Services in Sussex, Wis.
- Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay, Wis.
- St. Joseph’s Food Program, Inc. in Menasha, Wis.
“We were so proud of how our community showed up in the first year of the Bank on Kindness donation program and look forward to seeing how the bank and our communities will come together for another year,” said Susan T. Doyle, senior vice president of retail banking at North Shore Bank. “There are so many non-profit organizations working hard to serve our Wisconsin communities and this support will help fill the pantry shelves and make sure they can continue to offer these vital services.”
