NEWaukee’s 7 Bridges BBQ Returns to Grant Park
A Progressive Dining and Music Experience along the 7 Bridges Trail
Milwaukee, Wisc. August 20, 2018 — NEWaukee is excited to announce the return of its 7 Bridges BBQ taking place in Grant Park on Thursday, August 23rd. Now in its second year, the 7 Bridges BBQ is a progressive dining and musical experience along the 7 Bridges Trail in Grant Park leading down to Lake Michigan.
Guests will be able to take an illuminated night hike down to Lake Michigan and encounter food and drink samples, as well as pop up live acoustic music. For $35, guests will receive samples from Skyline Catering, Tap Room, Maxies, Scrappy’s BBQ, Iron Grate BBQ and Bavette. MillerCoors will be pairing beer samples with the food at each stop. Featured local musicians include Roxie Beane, Micah Olson and Ben Wagner.
Grant Park is located at 100 E. Hawthorne Avenue in South Milwaukee. To get to the event registration site for 7 Bridges BBQ, enter at South Lake Drive and Park Avenue. Follow the signs to picnic areas five and six. Guests should park in the lot by picnic area five and enter the trail from there.
