MPD investigates an incident involving a noose

On Friday, July 10, 2020, at approximately 9:25 a.m., the Milwaukee Police Department became aware of an incident that occurred on the 5300 block of N. 39th Street.

A citizen found a rope on a tree in their backyard that appears to be in the form of a noose. MPD immediately opened an investigation. This investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
