Milwaukee County Birth to 3 to Offer Free Developmental Screening for Children Ages 0-3 on Saturday Oct. 12
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Birth to 3 Program is excited to announce a free developmental screening event designed for children ages 0-3 years, in partnership with contracted agencies and community programs, on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 PM at Curative Care, 1000 N. 92nd Street, Milwaukee. Parents and caregivers can register for the event, here.
“This is a great opportunity for families to get a clear picture of their child’s development,” said Crystal Vang, Birth to 3 Liaison, DHHS. “Getting your baby screened is essential because early detection can make a world of difference. By identifying developmental milestones and any potential concerns early on, we can provide the support your child needs to thrive.”
The screening event is open to all Milwaukee County residents. Parents and caregivers who are concerned about a child’s development or desire to learn more about their child’s growth are encouraged to get the child screened. To sign up for the developmental screening, parents and caregivers must register a child using this link.
For questions, reach out to the Birth to 3 email inbox at birth_to_threedsd@milwaukeecountywi.gov. For direct assistance regarding the event, contact Crystal Vang at 414-316-8379.
