Traffic and parking are a breeze when you ride the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) Straight to the Gate of German Fest. MCTS offers two easy ways to the festival, held July 26-29, 2012 at Henry Maier Festival Park: Shuttle service along Wisconsin Avenue and Freeway Flyers from five park-ride lots.
DOWNTOWN SHUTTLE SERVICE
Shuttles provide service roughly every 30 minutes from 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm on Thursday, July 26; 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm on Friday, July 27; 11:30 am to 11:30 pm on Saturday, July 28; and 9:30 am to 10:30 pm on Sunday, July 29. When traveling to German Fest, the Shuttle stops between N. 6th Street and N. Jackson Street, then proceeds directly to the Mid Gate. Stops are made at all bus stops marked with the Summerfest smile logo.
