In September there is always Oktoberfest, but on Friday October 13th, Café Hollander Downer will host a very special Kwaktoberfest. The street festival, celebrating everyone’s favorite beverage, kicks off at 4 p.m. with bier, food, fun and games flowing until 10 p.m., and a string quartet playing from 5-9 p.m. Kwaktoberfest Bierfestival will also welcome a special guest visit from international Belgian bier legend Jack Van Antwerpen of Brouwerij Bosteels.
At $5 per token, you can purchase and redeem your tokens for any of the following food or drink items. At $20, you’ll get 5 tokens to use. And for $40, you get an all-you-can-drink wristband and 2 extra tokens you can use for food or share with a friend. On the menu:
Kwak (a Belgian strong pale ale) – 1 token
Tripel Karmeliet – 1 token
Seasonal Saison Series Fall17 – 1 token
Deus – 2 tokens
Frites Cone – 1 token
Bitterballen – 1 token
Belgian Cheese Snack (includes mustard and celery salt) – 1 token
