Milwaukee– Today, Sparkle Ashley announced the endorsement of her campaign for Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors District 18 by small business owner, DNC member, and former candidate for the 5th congressional district Khary Penebaker.
“As a small business owner, I know that we need responsive and effective government to help facilitate economic growth. Sparkle is the type of person who will work with business owners to ensure economic development throughout the metro Milwaukee area. Unlike the incumbent, she is ready to roll up her sleeves and work hard to make Milwaukee County a better place to live and work. I am honored to endorse her candidacy for the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors and wish her the best of luck” noted Khary.

Sparkle was born and raised in Milwaukee. She is a social worker who holds both a bachelors and graduate degree. Sparkle is happily married, and works as the Director of Social Services at the Bridges of Milwaukee Rehab and Care center. The primary election is February 20th, 2018 and the general election is April 3rd, 2018.
