Julie Gerber joins Bars & Recreation as Director of Sales & Events

Milwaukee, WI (April 2, 2024) – Bars & Recreation Inc., Southeastern Wisconsin’s premier provider for immersive experiences, social events, and team building activities – with popular venues including AXE MKE, NorthSouth Club, Amped, Nine Below, Game Show MKE and the recently opened New Fashioned – is thrilled to announce the addition of Julie Gerber to its leadership team as Director of Sales & Events. Gerber will assume her role on April 2, bringing with her a wealth of expertise.

With over 25 years of extensive hospitality experience, Julie specializes in developing relationships, event sales and management. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a passion for exceeding guest expectations and crafting unforgettable experiences. Drawing from her extensive background, including roles at renowned establishments such as Milwaukee’s Bartolotta Restaurant Group and ManpowerGroup, Julie brings invaluable insight and knowledge to every team and project she’s involved in.

As Director of Sales & Events for Bars & Recreation, Gerber will lead efforts to enhance client relationships, drive revenue growth, and elevate the overall guest and event experience at all venues.

Outside of work, Gerber enjoys exploring new culinary delights, trekking through the scenic trails of Lapham Peak, and dedicating her time to volunteering with organizations like Susan G. Komen and Best Buddies. She resides in Delafield with her husband, children, dogs, and guinea pigs.
