Incoming Tech Council president Brickerman featured Sept. 18 at W·O·M·E·N reception

MADISON, Wis. – Former partner with gener8tor and incoming Wisconsin Technology Council president Maggie Brickerman will speak Thursday, Sept. 18 at the annual W•O•M•E•N reception in Madison.

Brickerman will talk about her background, her vision for the future of the Tech Council and more during an early evening conversation at J.H. Findorff & Son headquarters, 300 S. Bedford St. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation at 6:30 p.m. Click here to register.

Brickerman, a founding leader of Wisconsin-based tech incubator gener8tor, has spent more than eight years driving innovation, investment and entrepreneurial growth in Wisconsin and beyond. At gener8tor, she directed strategic vision, managed an eight-figure operating budget, and scaled programs that supported more than 500 companies, collectively raising nearly $1.5 billion in follow-on funding.

Over time, the annual reception has featured speakers such as Sue Marks, Eve Hall, Toni Sikes, Demetria Menard, Darcy Luoma, Dr. Susan Turney, Cindy Alvarez, Kelli Thompson, Joanna Burish and a panel of women early stage investors.

The W•O•M•E•N (Women, Opportunities, Mentors, Entrepreneurs and Networking) reception has been held in each of the last ten years. Open to attendance by men and women, the cost is $25 for Tech Council members, $10 for students, entrepreneurs and returning veterans, and $50 for general admission.
