Growing the STEM Leaders of Tomorrow: STEM Forward Awards 6 STEM Scholarships to Deserving Students
Milwaukee, Wisconsin – STEM Forward, Milwaukee’s leading non-profit advancing the STEM workforce through STEM education and programming, is pleased to announce the six recipients of STEM scholarships totaling $15,000!
The STEM Forward Scholarship Program, established in 1939, recognizes an outstanding high school graduating senior from southeastern Wisconsin attending a Wisconsin technical college, college, or university pursuing a degree in a STEM field in the fall of 2022.
To help encourage and grow Milwaukee’s talent pipeline, STEM Forward also awards a deserving student from each of the following local higher education institutions: Marquette University, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a $2500 scholarship. Each recipient has demonstrated academic success in a STEM field, substantial involvement in extracurricular activities and organizations.
