Fromm Petfest to Cap Off Summer Festival Season with Third Annual Event
Free Pet-Themed Festival Returns to Henry Maier Festival Park in 2016
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (January 27, 2016) – Party animals rejoice! Milwaukee’s four-legged family members finally have a festival they can call their own. Last year, more than 8,400 people and 3,000 pets attended the annual Fromm Petfest enjoying family and pet-focused activities and entertainment at the all day event. Today the brand, together with Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., are excited to announce that 2016 Fromm Petfest will be held on September 24th, 2016 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Henry Maier Festival Park.
Fromm Family Foods, in partnership with Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., the 501(c) 3 organization that produces Summerfest, “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” will once again bring the festival to Milwaukee’s Lakefront at Henry Maier Festival Park. Now in its third year, 2016 will see Petfest again expand its footprint of the festival grounds, introducing new attractions, activities, vendors and more.
“In two short years we’ve seen Petfest grow into an event that the community has really embraced,” said Bryan Nieman, Brand Director and fifth-generation family member at Fromm Family Foods. “Our goal each year is to create a festival that the entire family, including pets, can enjoy. With the support of Milwaukee World Festival, world-class facilities and so many unique attractions and activities we could not be more excited for year three.”
“Since its inception in 2014, Petfest has been an excellent addition to the festival season,” said Don Smiley, President and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. “We are excited to partner with Fromm Family Foods again this year to bring this unique and free event to pet lovers in our community.”
Through the generous support of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. and other supporting sponsors and partners, Fromm Petfest will be a free family event and will once again include free parking. Dogs and cats are welcome as long as they are on leash and up-to-date on vaccinations. Fromm will once again donate proceeds from ticket and food sales to a number of area animal-related non-profits, including the Wisconsin Humane Society.
To ensure a fun and safe experience for both fest-goers and pets, participation rules may be found on petfestmke.com. Anyone wishing to bring his or her pet into Henry Maier Festival Park must sign a waiver.
Pet owners are encouraged to visit petfestmke.com to download the waiver in advance to expedite entrance; however, waivers will also be available at the Mid and South Gates. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are currently available and information can be found at petfestmke.com.

Can’t wait for this amazing event! From the first year on, it’s been wonderful, and my 75 lb. white German Shepherd Kalyna certainly enjoys it!
