Town of Brookfield, Wis. – As the summer season winds down, The Corners of Brookfield will debut a lineup of fun fall events for the whole family. The town center today announced its autumn programming schedule, with activities and events for guests of all ages.

The Corners will kick off the season with a bang, bringing the Rock the Burbs benefit concert to the Town of Brookfield on Saturday, Sept. 14. The event includes a Youth Talent Show from 1-5 p.m., followed by a concert from 6-10 p.m., featuring rock band Animal Years, singer/songwriter and Voice contestant Betsy Ade, and Goran Kralj and Morgan Dawley of the Milwaukee pop/rock band The Gufs. Tickets are available for $20 and all proceeds benefit the MACC Fund and Special Space.

On Saturday. Sept. 21, The Corners will host a Wisconsin Football Tailgate and Viewing Party on the big screen in Market Square. The Corners regularly broadcasts Wisconsin sporting events on its 12 x 20 ft. outdoor digital screen and is opening the season with the Wisconsin vs. Michigan match-up at 11 a.m. In addition to the game, ESPN Milwaukee will be on-site with giveaways and prizes, and Sendik’s Food Markets will offer tailgate food. Also on Sept. 21, kids can enjoy face painting and explore fire, police, construction and utility vehicles during the Town of Brookfield Truck Day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In October, guests can embrace their inner lumberjack or lumberjill with the L.L.Bean Flannel 5k on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9 a.m. Participants will start the day with a flannel-themed run and finish with a party at the L.L.Bean store featuring tasty pizza and a chance to win prizes and more.

The Corners’ fall programming will wrap up with its popular annual Trick or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 3-5 p.m. Families can travel along the “spooky candy trail,” visiting stores for treats and enjoying activities for kids and parents alike. Grab a treasure map from Market Square and stop by participating retailers for candy and fun surprises along the way.

“We pride ourselves on being a community gathering space for Brookfield and the surrounding areas, and a big part of that is creating a place where guests can come together for experiences designed for all ages,” said Chelsea Roessler, director of marketing and events. “With our line-up of autumn programming, we are sure everyone will discover new ways to celebrate the season at the Corners!”
